Just we we thought the weather could not be any worse than our January tournament the rain started and did not finish until later that night. I think we were all water logged by the end of the day which made the drive home even more fun. We have a new team and another team from last year officially join SPPB. I would like to welcome into our club Buddy Doyle and Bill Culver and welcome back Scott Ellis and Dick Fletcher. Please make sure you all introduce yourselves at the next tournament if you have not done so already.
First Place with 5 bass weighing 13.02 lbs goes to Troy and Adam
Second Place with 5 bass weighing 11.77 lbs goes to Malcolm and Josh
Third Place with 5 bass weighing 8.79 lbs goes to Rob and Tony
Big Bass weighing 4.58 lbs goes to Troy and Adam
50/50 winner goes to Greg
The 2014 Classic Tournament for the teams who have qualified is March 28th and 29th with prefishing on Friday March 27th. There is no prefishing allowed 7 days prior to Friday March 27th. Okeechobee is off limits from Friday March 20th thru Friday March 27th. Friday evening we will have our pot luck get together for whoever wants to come. Pulled BBQ Pork, Potato Salad are on the menu so far. Maybe someone can bring baked beans and chips and dessert? Saturday evening we will have our meeting, raffle and awarding the 2014 AOTY. Now for the raffle we still need everyone to help with donating towards our raffle. Please let me know as soon as possible so I can tag and label before Saturday night.
The next 2015 tournament is April 25th on Crooked Lake.
