It is hard to believe we just fished our last tournament on Kissimmee on November 13, 2021. This year went really fast to me for some reason. Probably since team Charles and Son’s had a great season and kicked all of our butts……lol. Congrats to Team Charles, Jesse and Timothy for winning the 2021 AOTY!!!
I would like to take this moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and looking forward to our 2022 season.
Kissimmee tournament had 10 teams and we launched out of Grape Hammock. Seemed like there must have been 5 or more other tournaments on the chain this day and the water was quite low. And the bites were tough for most. Only 3 teams brought in a limit.
First Place with 4 bass weighing 19.15 pounds goes to Paul and David
Second Place with 5 bass weighing 18.45 pounds goes to Darrell and Jason
Third Place with 5 bass weighing 14.95 pounds goes to Loren and Julia
Big Bass goes to Steve and Mike with 7.75 pounder
I would like to share some sad news though now with the club, new and old members. Joe DeOliveira passed away last week at a way to early age. Joe is a long time member of SPPB and has always helped our club in every way possible throughout the years. It was because of him and Greg that Steve and I got started in tournament fishing when they fished with Largo Bass and then went to SPPB. He will greatly be missed by all and our condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
